The Mind Blowing Effects of Mass Meditation

The Global Consciousness Project (GCP) is one of the most fascinating, revolutionary and useful research, carried out in the world today. Its potential to improve the quality of our life is infinite. The scientific method being its only hindrance – to prove beyond reasonable doubt that we are all one.
GCP is the brainchild of Roger D. Nelson, a professor at Princeton University who holds a PhD in Experimental Cognitive final-class-and-meditationPsychology. He has the distinction of being the first scientist to find a way of measuring with mathematical models what ancient spiritual traditions have always claimed: we are all one.
Nelson has devised a way to measure the field of global consciousness, a field that unites us, that reveals that we are the cells of a single body: humanity.
The scientific name given to this phenomenon is Electrogaiagram (EGG). It is measured through a network of one hundred computers in many different parts of the world that operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, emitting ones and zeros in a predefined random pattern. The data releases from each of these computers are sent to a supercomputer at the University of Princeton for analysis. What this giant computer is looking for are anomalies in the behavior of the network.
A data stream is signified as an anomaly if its behavior cannot be explained and yet it is a statistically significant diversion from the normal pattern. The fact is that each computer in the network is programmed to exhibit a series of 0s and 1s. Therefore, it can’t make an error on its own unless something electrically significant, like a tangible thought, interacts with its processing capability. This results in glitches. So in a perfect scenario (read more HERE)

HAVE YOU EVER WOKEN UP IN THE MIDDLE OF NIGHT PARALYZED?

How many of you have at one time or another woken up unable to speak or move? If you have, you are not alone.
The classic definition for this phenomenon is called sleep paralysis. It may last a few seconds, several moments, or even longer, and usually occurs right before you are about to fall asleep or wake up. Many people report feeling a “presence” that is often described as malevolent, threatening, or evil, and usually experience a tremendous amount of terror.
The presence is usually seen, felt, and even heard. People also report unique experiences like the sensation of floating or being outside the body. They believe the phenomenon to be an extremely spiritual one.
In the modern medical world, these experiences are defined as hypnagogic and hypnopompic hallucinations, which is often the explanation when conventional modern views of spiritual experience are combined with medical ideas that label direct spiritual experiences as psycho-pathological. It is well understood that sleep paralysis coincides with  physiological mechanisms in the brain. What is not well understood are the strange feelings individuals have when experiencing sleep paralysis. The idea of spiritual experience as an explanation for a bizarre and complex phenomenon, about which little is known, has been suppressed, thus discouraging discussion of it in modern society.
Sleep_Paralysis_UncoveredBeginning in college and graduate school I was particularly interested in the beliefs of ordinary people, especially the ones that were treated as nonsense in the academic world. The academic world treats spiritual belief in general that way. I was interested in alternative medicine at the same time for the same reason.
Right from the beginning I was convinced that ordinary people are smarter, are more sensible than they’re given credit for by scholars, and that traditions that are widespread and deeply held probably have more rational basis, and more observation built into them than the theories that I was taught in graduate school.
I couldn’t believe that all the beliefs of ordinary people that are not part of the academic worldview were nonsense. I have the impression that the academic world might be a little too narrow, and that regular people might have something to offer about it (sleep paralysis) through their experience and what they believed about things. There are beliefs that are based on experience that have been dismissed as (read more HERE)

KARMA: The real cause of reincarnation

According to the  philosophical concepts, man is composed of two fundamental principles opposed to each other per nature: one spiritual, the souland the other material, the body The Soul is eternal, immutable, not born, not created, indestructible; instead, the body is temporal, created, mutable, destructible.
The union between soul and body is not essential, but is accidental It is a type of imprisonment or a penalty which the soul has to undergo due to Ignorance(Loss of Consciousness) and karma, to which it is associated from all eternity.
Beyond-birth-and-death-Samsara-570x1000It Signifies the ignorance, Ignorance of the true nature of Soul or of the distorted vision in which the soul identifies itself or confounds itself with the psycho-physical organism. Due to ignorance the soul which is eternal and non-temporal, is caught up in time; gets joined to physical body. Birth is the union of the eternal and spiritual soul with the material and temporal body.
The nature of birth, that is, the condition of the body to which the Soul  gets united, depends on karma. Karma (Pali, Kamma, Tib., las; Chin., yeh or yin-k1lo;Jpn., go or inga), based on the Sanskrit verbal root he, signifies action, every sort of action, whether good or bad, meritorious or non-meritorious, religious or worldly; here, however, karma signifies the moral debit of the actions which one has done.
Every action inevitably produces its own fruit and the subject (actor) has necessarily to experience all the consequences of his own actions. A person’s behavior leads irrevocably to an appropriate reward or punishment commensurate with that behavior.
It is the inevitable law of retribution or the law of karma. It is the law of cause and effect applied to the life of every individual, law according to which every one gathers the fruit of what one has sowed or undergoes the effect of his own actions.
The effects of all the actions which a person does cannot be experienced (lived) during one single existence, because while the subject (actor) experiences the fruit of some act, does other actions in the meantime, and therefore gains new fruits which have to be experienced. From this fact is deduced that the soul has to be reborn repeatedly. So it is believed that the soul from all eternity is undergoing birth and rebirth due to this inviolable law of karma. Thus is born the doctrine of the transfiguration of the soul. It is a corollary of the doctrine of karma.
The entire process of reincarnation of the soul according to the law of karma is called Karma-the material worldIt means “to wander or pass through a series of states or conditions.” the material world is the beginning-less cycle of birth, death, and rebirth, a process impelled by karma. Life, therefore, is not determined or limited to... 9 KNOWN EXPERIENCES THAT HAPPEN AFTER CONSUMING AYAHUASCA

Ayahuasca is a potion that is made out of two Amazon herbs. One of the herbs contains the psychoactive molecule DMT. The Amazon tribes have been drinking this potion for thousands of years; they use it for physical, psychological and spiritual healing. It’s all about the approach of deep wisdom, associated with visions and guidance.
Ayahuasca is a ‘healer’, teacher, the key to a door that opens the inter-dimensional world. The ones who have consumed ayahuasca claim that they experienced spiritual revelations about the nature of the Universe, about their purpose on Earth.
ayaaa
Some say this is a spiritual awakening equally associated with rebirth. People report that they’ve reached higher spiritual dimensions after consuming the potion and at the same time they were able to communicate with various spiritual or extra-dimensional beings, who may act as guides or healers.
Amazon tribes and Westerners as well, have reported some of the experiences after consuming the ‘holy’ herb – Ayahuasca. These are some of them:
Everything is consciousness. Everything is vibration, even thoughts, ideas and emotions. Everything is made up of the same fundamental geometries.
There is no separation. Consuming ayahuasca may help you enter the state of non-duality or the unity of consciousness. Since beingaya3in such state, you’ll know that separation is an illusion. All life forms and matter are connected with the source – the universal consciousness. The perception of separation, powered by the ego, prevents us from learning the Truths.
Love and light are the foundation of everything that is. Love is a vibration, it is the fabric that makes up all-that-is. The darkness only exists to help us understand the light. The contrast needs to exist to create balance.
Negative thoughts block the light. Having bad thoughts about someone or something brings you pain both mentally and emotionally. Negative emotions can overwhelm you in a second, so keep your mind and heart clear.
Life is just a dream. The reality in which we live in is just a thick dream. We are moving through our wakened life unconsciously, following the already structured design of society.
Attention, intention and will are key to bending your reality. Attention lies in the middle of our conscious awareness. If you point your attention to a specific thing, new ideas arise, learning becomes faster and (Read more HERE)

Take Responsibility for Your Life

You are totally responsible for your life. This is the foundation principle you must embrace if you plan for happiness and success in life and work. I coach a young woman currently, a manager in a small company.
I am struck, every time we meet, by her failure to take responsibility for what is happening in her work and life. Everything is someone else’s fault. Every problem is explained away with reasons about why she can’t affect the situation or the outcome.

Blame and Excuses Are the Hallmarks of an Unsuccessful Life

On television, I briefly watched three jailed individuals who are seeking parole from the Parole Board, talk about themselves. I noticed the same pattern in their reasoning and approach to life. Nothing was their fault including the incidents that landed each of them in jail.
I suspect that if I interviewed more incarcerated individuals, I would find a pattern of “not my fault.” That is why taking responsibility for choices, actions, and direction is so powerfully important. Without taking responsibility, you’ll likely look at your life as a failure because you allowed yourself to be blown hither and yon, by any passing wind. And, you blamed the wind for how things turned out.

Make No Excuses

Excuses for failure, excuses about your choices in life, excuses about what you feel you have accomplished fuel dysfunctional thinking – and consequently, undesirable actions and behaviors. Making excuses instead of taking one hundred percent responsibility for your actions, your thoughts, and your goals is the hallmark of people who fail to succeed.
Part of the power of taking responsibility for your actions is that you silence the negative, unhelpful voice in your head. When you spend your thinking time on success and goal accomplishment, instead of on making excuses, you free up the emotional space formerly inhabited by negativity.
The next time you catch yourself making an excuse (read more HERE)

6 Tips for a Great Meditation Posture

Sitting in a good meditation posture seems to be a predominant obstacle for people to start a meditation practice or to keep going. These tips are to inspire people to find their own great meditation posture. The importance of a good posture is vital and even though meditation can be done anywhere at any time sitting in a great meditation posture has many benefits. It helps improve breathing capacity, stops the development of back and neck ache and actually affects your mood in a significant way. Sitting in a great posture helps to maintain an even state of mind, encourages a positive attitude, allows subtle energy to flow freely and adds a sense of nobility and grace to your meditation practice.

1) Let your spine be like a stack of coins. In classic Buddhist texts the explanation to keep a great posture is to imagine your spine is a stack of coins. Now these instructions may have been before x-rays and chiropractors informing us of the natural curvature of the spine but the tip still has great value. It gives a nice sense of balance and stability to imagine the stack of coins and if you lean too far forward or back or too far left or right you can easily imagine the coins tumbling over.

2) Become a puppet on a string. Imagine you were held up by a string coming from the centre of your crown. Gain a sense of the string lifting you upward. This helps to elongate the spine drawing the energy upward, making you feel lighter and straight. To make this a great posture use your in breath to draw upward being pulled up by the string and use your out breath to relax the shoulders, neck, arms and importantly relax the facial muscles. Use this in and out breath to gain beautiful alignment and relaxation – the benchmarks of a great posture.

3) Sit like a mountain. An important element of a good posture is stillness and stability. A great Meditation Masters advice is to to sit like a mountain, unmovable, stable and also majestic. Once you have developed alignment and relaxation in your posture.... (read more HERE)
